This is an example of our flagship Thunderhorse, featuring our new 12-way pickup selector and McGrath Tilt EQ.

We have really hit our stride recently. As well as developing our own electronics, a lot of other factors have fallen into place. I feel like we are producing the best basses we ever have right now.

This Thunderhorse V finished in Candy Apple Red is just incredible. This is a medium scale, 32-inch, five-string equipped with three custom-ordered 18.5mm spacing Nordstrand soapbars. The neck pickup is a Big Blade with a warm and woolly winding for deep low end and vintage vibes. The middle pickup is a Big Split for P-bass tones and mid growl. The bridge is a Big Single for J-tones and glassy top end. Combine all three and it's like a high-end speaker system with all frequencies dialed.

The control layout is a Master Volume with a push pull to bypass the preamp, our very own McGrath Switch for 12 different pickup combinations, our Tilt EQ, and a master tone.
