Thunderhorse IV - Black Sands

This bass is a custom Thunderhorse IV with an active electronics setup. It's loaded with DiMarzio Relentless pickups and an EMG BQ30 preamp running on 18 volts for extra headroom.

The pickup selectors are Jaguar-style Switchcraft sliders, and the master volume is a push/pull pot that toggles between active and passive modes. This clever design completely disconnects the battery when in passive mode, so you can leave the bass plugged in without worrying about draining the battery. This is an Active/Passive True Bypass Push/Pull

The guitar's finish is called "Black Sands," a hand-stained finish created by Madelyn McGrath.
