Built for NAMM 2026 – Available Now

We are starting 2026 off with a bang with the brand new Fretless Thunderhorse 4. Finished in our striking new Orbital Ink, this bass is built around a resonant, one-piece mahogany body.

This instrument was featured as a display and demo model at NAMM 2026. Because it was handled by attendees during the show, it may exhibit minor surface imperfections or light play wear. However, the bass has undergone a full professional inspection to ensure it is in perfect working order and plays beautifully. We have adjusted the sale price to reflect its "ex-demo" status, offering a fantastic value on a world-class instrument.

The one-piece mahogany body paired with the EMG J HZ pickups provides a warm, punchy low-end with the distinct, 'mwah' growl of a fretless ebony board".

Premium Specs & Playability

  • Neck: Roasted flame maple with a smooth Ebony fretboard. 34 inch Scale.

  • Radius & Nut: A comfortable 12-inch radius and a 1.5-inch "Jazz-style" nut width for effortless playability.

  • Hardware: All-nickel hardware throughout, featuring a silver McGrath logo on the headstock. The bridge is Badass High mass, the tuners are matching Badass lightweights.

High-Performance Electronics

This bass is a powerhouse of tone, featuring:

  • Pickups: Three EMG J HZ passive pickups.
