This Thunderhorse was inspired by a particularly nice billet of ash we received. It has amazing flame in it that we didn't want to hide, so we enhanced it with some subtle gold and flake, then had it finished in a durable high-gloss topcoat. The tortoise shell pickguard and gold hardware make this bass an instant classic.

This is our flagship Thunderhorse, featuring our new 12-way pickup selector and McGrath Tilt EQ.

Pickups: All Nordstrand, the Neck is a Big Blade with a warm and wooly winding for warm low end and vintage tones, the Middle is a Big Spilt for driving mids and P bass punch, the bridge is a big single for J tones and top end.

Push-Button Functions:

Save: Long-press to save your current setting.

Recall: Push to jump to your saved favorite; push again to return to your previous setting.

Reset: Triple-tap to return to Position 1.

Failsafe: Defaults to Position 1 (All 3 Parallel) if power is lost.

We now have an app for the 12 way allowing for 14 different tone combinations and 1 to 12 potistions

McGrath Tilt EQ: A single-pot active preamp and buffer. Turning the center detent knob yields glassy highs in one direction and rich, powerful low end in the other. This preamp is a sweet spot finder.

18V Active System & Passive Bypass: Easily bypass the active preamp using the push-pull Master Volume knob. If battery power drops during a set, pulling the volume knob defaults the circuit to running all three pickups in passive parallel mode.
