McGrath Thunderhorse IV – Gold Dusk

This Thunderhorse IV is finished in a one off Gold Dusk finish. The all-gold hardware and simulated Anodized Gold pickguard pair perfectly with the Roasted Flame Maple neck to make this bass an absolute stunner.

The neck pickup has been moved back 3/8 of an inch to allow more room for slapping.

Triple-Threat Tone: Equipped with three DiMarzio relentless pickups, each with its own dedicated Switchcraft on/off slider for endless tonal combinations.

This is a fully passive bass, the super high output DiMarzios shine on there own.

The controls are super simple, a master volume and master tone. The volume has a push pull for quick muting. Pickup selection is achieved via the three switchcraft slider. This has proven to be an excellent live setup for instant tone changes between or even during a song.

Built for Performance: A lightweight, resonant solid mahogany body paired with a roasted flame maple neck. The 1.5" J-style nut width and stainless steel frets ensure maximum comfort and speed. It has a 12 inch radius board.
