Sometimes, I get to make the basses for myself, and this is one of them. To me, this bass offers everything I want in a bass. It sounds amazing, is super comfortable to play, and is striking to look at.

This pickup configuration has been available on our bass builder for a while, it's kind of a secret menu item listed under the middle pickup selection. The two EMG TBHZ combine to make a sonic powerhouse of quad coil power, right in the sweet spot of the bass. What's more, there is a parallel/series push-pull to bring you to tonal nirvana. OK, maybe that's a bit much, but I'm trying to say it sounds huge.

The Thumper Heart

This instrument is built around the Thumper configuration. It is a short-scale 30-inch, comfortable, and lightweight 8.3 lbs. The mahogany body is light and adds warmth to your sound.
