Rebel 5 - Red Flame

This is the first medium-scale Rebel 5, featuring a comfortable 32-inch scale length. This five-string bass has an inviting feel that makes you want to keep playing.

This instrument was featured as a display and demo model at NAMM 2026. Because it was handled by attendees during the show, it may exhibit minor surface imperfections or light play wear. However, the bass has undergone a full professional inspection to ensure it is in perfect working order and plays beautifully. We have adjusted the sale price to reflect its "ex-demo" status, offering a fantastic value on a world-class instrument.

Finish and Aesthetics

The bass is finished in Red Flame, a color we believe perfectly complements the Rebel body shape. The design features tasteful accents, thoughtfully added by Madelyn, which enhance the pickups and controls—a visual detail that truly stands out when the bass is in your hands. The hardware is all blacked out, adding to the overall aesthetic.

Electronics and Hardware

The instrument is equipped with a custom-selected set of Lollar pickups: a custom Thunderbird at the neck, a reverse P in the middle, and a Jazz at the bridge. This combination is a favorite of ours and highlights our partnership with Lollar.).

• Controls: The bass features three Switchcraft On/Off switches (one for each pickup) and controls for Volume, Bass, Mid, and Treble. The Volume knob is also a push/pull switch for true bypass Active/Passive operation.

• Preamp: The 3-band EQ is a Trickfish IPA, running at 18 volts, with easily accessible batteries from the rear.

• Hardware: It includes a Badass bridge and tuners provided by Allparts.

Neck and Construction

The neck boasts Stainless Steel frets, two carbon reinforcement rods, and a spoke nut two-way truss rod for exceptional stability.

• Nut Width: 1.8 inches (an ideal tight spacing for a five-string).

• Fretboard Radius: 12 inches (our preferred standard).

• Body: The Mahogany body shape is Jag-style, a design that pairs traditionally well with the medium scale length. We are extremely pleased with the resulting feel and playability.
