McGrath P-Style – Celestial Blue

This P-Style is finished in Celestial Blue, a rare colorway we’ve only produced once before. The body and headstock are hand-painted by Madelyn McGrath, making this instrument a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art.

Key Components

This bass is equipped with two Lollar Thunderbird passive pickups, offering a bold and punchy tonal profile. It features a fully passive circuit with a streamlined control layout consisting of a primary Volume with a push-pull mute function, a second Volume, and a Master Tone. The electronics are rounded out with high-quality CTS pots and an Orange Drop .047uf capacitor for smooth, vintage-inspired frequency roll-off. All hardware, including the Leo Quan Badass bridge and tuning units, is finished in classic Nickel.

Build & Comfort

The solid mahogany body provides excellent resonance and lightweight performance, bringing the total weight of the instrument to a comfortable 8.6 lbs. The neck is crafted from roasted flame maple and features a 1.5-inch J-style nut width, specifically designed for comfort and speed. It sports a 12-inch radius fingerboard equipped with durable stainless steel frets for a modern playing feel. For long-term reliability, the neck is reinforced with carbon fiber rods and features a two-way spoke nut truss rod for effortless adjustments. A matching headstock and a simulated anodized silver pickguard complete this premium package.
