We made an app!
One of our main goals at McGrath Guitars is to make our instruments are future compatible. We have exciting plans for upcoming innovations and want to ensure all of our current owners can upgrade as new features roll out.
When we designed the 12-Way Pickup Selector, we always intended to build a companion app for it. The app serves two primary functions, customizing your setup to use fewer than 12 positions, and assigning any of the 14 distinct tonal possibilities to any position on the switch.
We were lucky enough to connect with Ray Salamon, an incredible software developer and fellow bass player. Ray knocked this project out of the park, building in fantastic features like knob damping, auto shut-off, and full preset import and export capabilities.
This app is fully compatible with all McGrath 12-Way Rotary Pickup Selectors. Complete setup instructions and technical documentation are available on our GitHub page.
