The Black Sands finish is by far the favorite of 2025. Everyone loves a black bass. We couldn't just do a black bass. We had to run it through the awe filter by incorporating something lovely from the world we live in. On this bass we've paired it with nickel hardware and pickups to bring out the extra shimmery silver effects on this piece. This particular piece of wood already had a beach popping out of it's grain waiting to be found.

This bass is equipped with three DiMarzio Relentless pickups configured in our signature layout: Thunderbird, Reverse P, and J. They are routed through a Trickfish IPA 3-band preamp, operating at 18 volts for maximum headroom. The bridge and tuners are Leo Quan Badass units, all finished in nickel. It's a reflective look but sounds clean with no noise. It's electronically precise but optically boutique.
