Black Sand Thunderhorse IV

This bass is our custom active Thunderhorse IV. It's loaded with DiMarzio Relentless pickups and an EMG BQ30 preamp running on 18 volts for extra headroom.

The pickup selectors are Jaguar-style Switchcraft sliders, and the master volume is a push/pull pot that toggles between active and passive modes. The battery completely disconnects when in passive mode. You can leave the bass plugged in without worrying about draining the battery. This has an Active/Passive True Bypass Push/Pull. 

The Black Sands finish emulates volcanic beaches. There's a lot of silver shimmery line detail and a touch of teal at the center. This creates a shallow beach peak at the beautiful wood grain.
