Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting independent instrument design and craftsmanship. Every custom bass guitar we build is packed with the utmost care to ensure it arrives safely at your door. Please review our shipping practices below.

Order Processing and Production Times

  • Custom Instruments: Because our custom guitars and basses are built entirely to order, they carry a dedicated three-month production time. Once the build is completed, we perform a thorough final setup and inspection before packing.

  • Merchandise and Parts: Smaller non-custom items are processed and shipped within 2 to 5 business days.

Domestic and International Shipping

We ship worldwide directly from our workshop in Southern California.

  • Domestic Shipping: We utilize reliable ground and express carriers (including UPS and FedEx) within the United States. All instrument shipments include tracking and require a direct signature upon delivery.

  • International Shipping: We ship to international destinations, including Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia, using carrier-calculated rates (UPS, DHL Express, and FedEx).

Duties, Taxes, and Customs Fees

For international orders, please note that any import duties, taxes (such as VAT), or customs clearance fees levied by your destination country are not included in our shipping rates. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are typically collected by the carrier at the time of delivery.

Shipping Insurance and Delivery Issues

Every instrument we ship is fully insured for its total value during transit.

  • Signature Required: To protect your investment, all guitar shipments require an adult signature upon delivery. We cannot waive this requirement.

  • Damaged Shipments: In the rare event that your instrument arrives with signs of transit damage, please document the condition of both the exterior packaging and the instrument immediately with clear photos. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can initiate an insurance claim with the carrier and resolve the issue quickly.

Track Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier to update the tracking status.
