It’s a totally passive bass equipped with two EMG 40HZ pickups for ultra clarity and definition. The controls are simple, two volumes and a tone, but both volumes are also push pulls. The first acts as a killswitch, which is super handy for many live situations, especially when tuning with a clip on tuner. The second routes both pickups in series, giving you a louder, punchier tone than both pickups in parallel.
